What is Med+ Anti-Stress Serum?
Med+ Anti-Stress is the line that La Mer has designed for the most sensitive and reactive skin. Irritated and stressed skin that appears tired and suffocated. These are skins that generally suffer from itching and flaking.
The causes of these skin alterations are varied but are mainly due to external factors such as ultraviolet rays, polluted air, and artificial air conditioning.
The Med+ Anti-Stress line is formulated with the Marine Care Complex and other active ingredients that reveal a fresh, healthy, and relaxed face thanks to the different forms in which this treatment is presented, in day cream, night cream, SOS cream, and finally, its new serum.
The Med+ Anti-Stress serum is a soothing, anti-irritation and anti-aging serum for sensitive skin.
What is it for?
Med+ Anti-Stress Serum is a soothing serum for sensitive and stressed skin, made with brown algae extracts that offer protection to our skin against photoaging and relieve irritation.
Its two-phase formula provides intensive hydration and improves skin elasticity. With regular application of this serum, we will achieve smoother and healthier skin.
At the heart of the Med+ Anti-Stress Serum formula you will find:
- Marine Care Complex, which contains the exclusive Marine Silt Extract, Enteromorpha Compressa algae extracts and sea salt. Marine Silt Extract deeply hydrates the skin and helps it create water deposits. It provides trace elements and minerals. The green alga from the North Sea is soothing and sea salt is rich in minerals and trace elements.
- Laminaria Digitata algae extracts, to stimulate collagen synthesis, blurring expression lines and wrinkles.
- Laminaria Ochroleuca algae extract, which works on skin damaged by sun rays and protects it from free radicals.
- Hydrolyzed Alginate, which creates an anti-stress film on the skin.
- Panthenol, an active ingredient with regenerative properties.
The Med+ Anti-Stress serum has been dermatologically tested and is a gel-textured, biphasic serum.
Who can use it?
The treatment offered by Med+ Anti-Stress Serum is indicated for sensitive, irritated, and stressed skin. Skin damaged by solar radiation and showing visible signs of photoaging.

How should I apply it?
The application protocol would be:
In the mornings:
- Wash your face with water and dry with a clean towel.
- If you have one, apply an eye contour specific for your skin type and age, pressing from the inside to the outside of the eye contour.
- Next, apply a few drops of Med+ Anti-Stress Serum on your face and massage with a gentle patting motion.
- Then, apply a small amount of your daily cream, according to skin type and age. For example, you can apply the day cream from the Med+ Anti-Stress line.
- Finally, before leaving home and exposing yourself to the sun. Apply sun protection to the most exposed areas such as face, neck, and décolletage. Use at least SPF50+.
In the evenings:
- Cleanse your face with a cleansing milk special for your skin type.
- Next, apply a specific hydrating toner for your skin type on your face, neck, and décolletage, with the help of a cotton pad or tissue.
- If you have one, apply an eye contour specific for your skin type and age by gently pressing on the eye contour.
- Now, apply a small amount of the soothing and anti-aging serum from the Med+ Anti-Stress line on your face, neck, and décolletage.
- Finally, apply your night cream according to skin type and age.
